Organizing my trip!

After my brother arrived from his semester abroad he told me about his visit to Marrakech. Actually, it was the first time i heard about this city, so it called my attention immediately and thats how my investigation began!
First thing to do, find how to get there the cheapest way we can. So it came to my mind that from Madrid we can find cheap flights with Ryanair, and yes it was true! The difficult part is to find a cheap ticket from Athens to Madrid, unfortunately Greece is not a low budget destination so it's very difficult to find good deals. What I normaly do is I open different tabs with all my favourite web pages, http://www.edreams.es/, http://www.airtickets.gr/, http://www.easyjet.com and start searching for my best deal. The first time I look the tickets Madrid-Marrakech I found 21 euros roundtrip. It was a great deal! but I couldnt book them jet, I had to look first for Athens-Madrid. Looking through all the pages and all the prices I came across with a quite good deal, 142 euros roundtrip to Madrid. I double checked with my travel mate if this was a good price for him too, and when he gave me the ok, after 5 seconds I had our tickets booked for Madrid, the "fiesta" capital! I just quickly went back to Ryanairs web page and checked for my super deal I found before, but prices went up! Ok it was not the end of the world, they just went from 21 euros to 46 euros round trip each, it was still a good price so I booked them right away!
Second important step, book the hostels. Yes you heard me, hostels! you can find very good hostels for a very good price! Tabs opened again, but this time with http://www.hostelworld.com/, http://www.airtickets.gr/ and http://www.hostels.com/. The truth is that my brother gave me the name of this nice and not that cheap hostel in Marrakech, it was cheap but you could find a cheaper one if needed. I just google the name of the hostel, Equity Point Marrakech!When I saw the pictures I just knew I had to go there! Honestly when I go to hostels I try to go to double bedrooms or if we are travelling with more people four-bedroom is also a good option. In this case I was going to the Red city only with my boyfriend, but the double-bedrooms were a little bit expensive, so we thought we could try this time with the four-bedroom dorm, no privacy but cheaper. So I pick up my poor credit card and book my 3 nights in Marrakech for just 20 euros per night per person with typical moroccan breakfast!Next hostel, Madrid. Again I found the same chain of hostels in Madrid with good prices, but this time I needed to book for 4 people, 2  friends were meeting us in the capital of Spain. This was an easier job, I booked a four-bedroom for four nights for the price of 16 euros per night per person and again with breakfast included!
So the first two steps of my trip are over!now we have to wait until the day of departure!

Traveling alone gives you so much time to think, I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. But I will share my thoughts about Thailand and it's people. Thailand came to an end for me, for now, I loved it so much, that I might come again soon. I must say I leave again full of energy and great vibes from this beautiful country, with amazing people. Thai people are one of the most happy and simple people I have met so far. Good morning Vietnam!

"Life should not be about the number of breaths you take, but the number of moments that take your breath away" Let's the adventure begin. Tuk tuk coming to pick us up from the hostel. We changed to a bus that took us to Kep, we waited there for a while for a mini van, and I thought the driver would be the same crazy one that took us from Sihanoukville, he recognised us, but was not him after all that would drive us to Vietnam. We crossed the borders, very fast actually, in the Vietnamese part they took our temperature and checked we were healthy, I have no idea why we had to pay 1 dolar for that? Then the driver took us to the other part, asked for 2 dolars for the stamp and we crossed the border walking. Waited there for the next bus that only took us to the closest bus station. Here we waited for 2 hours and I had my first Vietnamese soup, feeling like home, as every weekend we go to the Vietnamese market to get Pho Boh soup in our gastronomical weekends in Brno. F...

Bali, the shaking country!

The hardest part of traveling for me is leaving behind all those amazing people you have been meeting through out your journey, I wish I could take them with me and keep them close, I know with those I have a bigger connection I will keep in touch for life (sorry people you are stuck with me). Each person you meet takes part of your journey, they show you something, they teach you things, you learn so much about them and about their stories, each one has their own stories to tell. Everyone has something to share, and I hope I am giving them something back too. I said it is the hardest part because you start to get attached to them and then it's hard to let them go. I guess that's life and we should keep going, but I still have a grandma's heart and I feel sad when I have to depart.
