Last thoughts about Thailand!
Traveling alone gives you so much time to think, I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. But I will share my thoughts about Thailand and it's people.
Thailand came to an end for me, for now, I loved it so much, that I might come again soon. I must say I leave again full of energy and great vibes from this beautiful country, with amazing people.
Thai people are one of the most happy and simple people I have met so far. I don't know if they are so kind and good because of Buddhism and because they believe in karma, or just that they are very happy nation and they are always willing to help you without asking for anything on return.
On my way back from Pai to Chiang Mai, our bus driver stopped in the middle of one of the 735 curves, no one understood why he was stopping. He got out of the bus, run in the middle of the street picked up a phone and came back inside the bus. In my mind I thought, nice he gets a new phone, but of course, having a western mind always makes you think negative. But no, he just run behind the motorbiker to give him the phone, the moto was just a few meters away looking for his phone and was so happy to get his phone back. I couldn't believe that he gave him the phone, I wish more people like this exist in this world, it would be so great!
In both hostels I've stayed, people were always willing to help me, not even asking for anything in return. Why should the guy give me his phone to call the airline? He didn't even ask for some money for the call, or when I came back to that same hostel, I've booked the cheapest room without aircon, he saw me and said, it's too hot, I will put you in the aircon room for same price.
If you haven't been to Thailand, I totally recommend it. Great pleaces to visit, tasty food and amazing people!
